2022 Sports Star Awards – All Abilities Team of the Year Award

This award recognises a south west sporting teams that include athletes with a disability who have achieved outstanding results as a team in respect to performance/s in their chosen sport during the qualifying period (1st November 2020 – 31st October 2022).

Eligibility

To be considered in this category, the nominee must:

  • Be an all abilities team who has competed and achieved a high level either at local, state, national or international level.
  • At least 50% of the team must reside in the South West Region (Warrnambool City Shire, Moyne Shire, Corangamite Shire, Glenelg Shire or Southern Grampians Shire)

NOTE: This award is open to all levels of teams

  • Level of Competition – Local, State, National and/or International

    To be considered as being from the South West, your nominee must fulfill either requirement (1) OR (2). Please "tick" the criteria below as relevant to your nominee:
    (1) The nominee is a resident of the South West: They identify their primary residence as a location geographically based in the South West (Shires include: Warrnambool City, Corangamite Shire, Moyne Shire, Glenelg Shire, Southern Grampians Shire)(2) The nominee is attending a School in the South West:They identify their school as being geographically based in the South West (Shires include: Warrnambool City, Corangamite Shire, Moyne Shire, Glenelg Shire, Southern Grampians Shire)

    All nominees for the 2022 Sports Star Awards will be required to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

    WAS YOU NOMINEE'S CONTRIBUTIONS/ACHIEVEMENTS ACHIEVED IN THE QUALIFYING PERIOD (1ST NOVEMBER 2021 TO 31ST OCTOBER 2022)?

    HAS YOUR NOMINEE ACTIVELY BEEN INVOLVED WITH/OR A COMPETING MEMBER OF A SPORTS CLUB IN THE SOUTH WEST?

    The All Abilities Team of the Year Award recognises South West club sporting teams (Juniors and Senior Teams) that include athletes with a disability who have achieved outstanding results in respect to performance/s at a local, state, national and/or international level during the qualifying period.
    To be eligible: the team nomination must have at least 50% of the team residing in the South West, and is open to all levels of teams.
    Please:
    - Provide as much detail as possible in the description
    - Describe any relevant nuances to your nominee's sport, including terminology and acronyms
    - List Performance from highest level achieved to lowest
    - For achievements across multiple sports please specify or consider a second nomination
