FREE WEBINAR: Good Governance in Rural and Regional Areas, 29 April 2021

Training programs for rural and regional community group boards too often are city-centric, and many of the lessons aren’t applicable to the unique circumstances facing them.

Our Community has teamed up with the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) for a special webinar focused on the issues important to rural and regional not-for-profit organisations.

WEBINAR: Good Governance in Rural and Regional Areas

This webinar will cover:

·  Finding funding

·  Recruiting new members and volunteers

·  Getting help from peak bodies and community leaders

·  Conflicts of interest, and how to approach them

About FRRR: FRRR is a not-for-profit organisation which connects common purposes and funding from government, business and philanthropy with the genuine local needs of rural people and places. FRRR is helping to create a vibrant, resilient and revitalised remote, rural and regional Australia.

Time: 1pm to 2pm AEST, Thursday 29 April.

Cost: Free!
