2019 South West Games
The 2019 Federation University South West Games will run from 2nd – 17th November and will be hosted by the Glenelg Shire.
The South West Games are regional Victoria’s premier multi-sport event, running since 1983.
The 2019 Federation University South West Games will run from the 2nd – 17th of November, and is to be hosted by the Glenelg Shire this year. It is anticipated that we will see around 50 events staged with over 4,500 participants.
What’s NEW in 2019!
In addition to traditional sporting events, this year the Games will aim to increase community participation through social & modified sport activities.
The next information and registration night for the 2019 Federation University Australia South West Games will be held in Portland:
Date: 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm, 25th September 2019
Location: Reception Room, Glenelg Shire Offices, Cliff St, Portland
All Glenelg Shire sporting Clubs will be encouraged to run events.

South West Sport will host monthly meetings in Portland in the lead up to the South West Games. These meetings provide an opportunity for Clubs to be informed of what is happening with the organisation of the Games and what the administrative requirements are for their events.

Opening Ceremony & Dinner:
The Opening Ceremony for the Games will be held on Friday 1st November – format to be advised.
The Glenelg Shire is the host municipality of the 2019 South West
Games, which will be the 36th staging of the event.
