The 2018 Federation University Australia South West Games from the 3rd to 11th of November hosted by the Southern Grampians Shire will see over 60 events staged with 4500 participants. The majority of the events will be conducted  within Southern Grampians municipality, however events were also held across the South West region.

 Information Nights

The first information and registration night for the 2018 Federation University Australia South West Games will be held in Hamilton on the 27th June 2018 (venue to be advised).

All Southern Grampians Shire sporting clubs will be encouraged to run events. To view the list of sports for 2018 following link: Sports List (NOTE: registration for 2018 will begin following the first information night)

Monthly meetings

South West Sport will host monthly meetings in Hamilton in the run up to the South West Games. These meetings provided an opportunity for the sports directors to be informed of what was happening with the organisation of the Games and what the administrative requirements were for the Sports.

The meetings schedule and venue will be advised shortly.

Opening Ceremony & Dinner

The Opening Ceremony for the Games will be held on Friday 2nd November – format to be advised.

Host Municipality

Southern Grampians Shire– will host municipality of the 2018 South West
Games for the 36th staging of the event.
