2019 Federation University South West Games
The South West Games are regional Victoria’s premier multi-sport event, running since 1983.
The 2019 Federation University South West Games ran from 2nd – 17th November, and was hosted by the Glenelg Shire this year.
What’s NEW in 2019!
In addition to traditional sporting events, this year the Games will aim to increase community participation through social & modified sport activities.
Information nights have now concluded for 2019.
All Glenelg Shire sporting Clubs will be encouraged to run events.
South West Sport will host monthly meetings in Portland in the lead up to the South West Games. These meetings provide an opportunity for Clubs to be informed of what is happening with the organisation of the Games and what the administrative requirements are for their events.

Opening Ceremony & Dinner:
The Opening Ceremony for the Games will be held on Friday 1st November at the Portland Golf Club. The format will be a sit down dinner.
The Glenelg Shire is the host municipality of the 2019 South West Games, which will be the 37th staging of the event.
